Education: Dr. Forrester has a BA in Anthropology from Sewanee, and is a 2002 magna cum laude graduate of Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Bio: Dr. Forrester is married to Jared and they are the proud parents of two children: Carl and Claire and many furry children.

Jamie Jones, MS, DVM
Title: Associate Veterinarian- Dr. Jones is the model of compassionate, professional veterinary care. She approaches each patient with a determination, thoughtfulness, and thoroughness that allows her to provide the highest quality care to our patients.
Bio: Dr. Jones has been working at SEAVH since December 2012. She lives in Dothan with her husband, Phillip, and her spunky daughter, Sutton

Bio: Life is full and lively with her three kids—Chapman, Florrie, and Betsy—who keep her constantly on her toes. When she's not working or parenting, she enjoys beauty care, traveling, and spending time with her beloved King Charles Cavalier Spaniel, Frannie.

Meagan Coleman, DVM
Title: Associate Veterinarian- Dr. Coleman has a cool, calm, and collected demeanor that brings a sense of ease to every interaction. Her confidence in veterinary medicine continues to grow, guided by a genuine curiosity and a passion for understanding the “whys” behind each case.
Bio: Dr. Coleman moved to Dothan with her husband, Tony, and their fur children.
Education: Dr. Coleman is Mississippi native and obtained her Bachelor's degree in Animal and Dairy Sciences from Mississippi State University. She remained at MSU for veterinary school, and graduated in May 2022 as a Giles Scholar.
Pets: 3 cats (Felix, Franklin, and Chicky Nug), 2 dogs (Bindi and Phoebe)
Hobbies: Spending time outdoors, fishing, kayaking, reading, watching college football, and visiting with family and friends

Brittany Walker, DVM
Title: Associate Veterinarian- Dr. Brittney is a sweet and caring veterinarian who takes the time to thoroughly educate her clients, ensuring they feel informed and supported. Her gentle nature and compassionate approach make her a favorite among both pets and their owners. She has a soft spot for any animal in need and always goes the extra mile to provide comfort and care. With her warm heart and dedication, Dr. Brittney makes a lasting impact on every patient she sees.
Bio: Dr. Brittney is a proud mom to two active boys, Wyatt and Finn, who love to play sports. Outside the clinic, she enjoys trail riding with her horses and embracing the outdoors. Her favorite color is pink, which perfectly matches her bright and cheerful personality. Most of all, she treasures making special memories with her boys , whether at the ballfield or on horseback. She also has a bonus daughter, Adeline, who also shares the love of trail riding.
Education: Dr. Brittney earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Troy University before completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Auburn University. She went on to complete a specialized internship in equine medicine and lameness at Colorado State University.
Pets: Dr. Brittney's pack of dogs include Roscoe, Pickles, Moose, Sally, and Kaitlyn. Her trail riding horse is Collins. She also has two mini fur babies, hamsters, Jeremy and Fred.
Hobbies: When Dr. Brittney is not working, she is probably out horseback riding or planning her next trip.
Favorite thing about working at SEAVH: Dr. Brittany couldn’t ask for a better team—these ladies are the real MVPs. We lift each other up, have each other’s backs, and give our all so our patients can heal stronger and faster. Teamwork like this is rare, and she is grateful every day.

Brandi Cook
Title: Practice Manager/Veterinary Assistant- Brandi is an incredibly versatile member of our team- She assists in all aspects of practice, and is also responsible for maintaining our pet portal site, special order drugs, staff scheduling, and payroll. She is amazing at anticipating what needs to be done, and provides great support to the whole team.
Bio: Brandi has worked in the veterinary field since she was 14 years old. Brandi has been married to Gail Raye for over 10 years, and they have a handsome little boy, Graham, who is the light of their lives, and keeps them on their toes with his infectious, high energy personality

Pets: Tesla the Chocolate Lab; Rivian the Shih Tzu; and 5 cats; Monkey, Marley, Moldy Bread, Parrott, and Bunny
Favorite thing about working at SEAVH: She loves taking care of the animals, and loves when we can help a sick animal and return them back to a happy owner. She also really loves the challenging case where the diagnosis is not readily apparent-when we have to work hard to find the diagnosis and correct treatment. She feels like this job is so rewarding in so many ways.

Title: Veterinary Receptionist- Michelle is a multi-tasking dynamo! She is the lead receptionist, and provides amazing attention and personalized customer service to all of our patients and clients. She is extremely organized and incredibly knowledgeable. She is an invaluable asset to our team. Michelle has worked in the veterinary field for 25+ years
Bio: Michelle is married to Nick, one daughter, Megan, and two grandkids, Henry and Holden. She has been a vet receptionist for 30 years and pet sit on the side.

Bio: Originally from North Carolina, she made the move to Alabama at the age of ten—and it’s been home ever since. She has been with her boyfriend, DJ, for over four years now. She officially stepped into the veterinary field in 2023, but the dream to work with animals began in her early teens.

Michelle Bowdoin
Title: Licensed Veterinary Technician: Michelle is a skilled Lead Surgical Tech and dedicated surgical tech trainer, known for her precision and leadership in the operating room. She brings a wealth of experience and a focused presence that ensures procedures run smoothly and efficiently. As a trainer, Michelle is thorough and empowers new techs with the knowledge and confidence they need to excel. She holds an additional AAHA Anesthesia Safety and Monitoring Guidelines Certificate to add to her tool bag to make sure each surgical patient is treated with the utmost care.
Joined Team: Michelle originally joined the Southeast Veterinary Hospital when she started tech school with Jefferson State back in 2011. She ventured out to other opportunities in 2016 but made her way back with valuable experience in 2022. She is happy to be back with the SEAVH team!
BIO: Michelle has worked in the veterinary field for the past 19 years. She began her career at the Wiregrass Humane Society. She instantly knew that was what she was meant to do. She earned her license in Veterinary Technology in 2013. She is married to Matt, and they absolutely adore their precious son, Luke.
Pets: She has a house full that they love dearly. She has 2 dogs (Skyler/Layla), 5 cats (Tawanda, Gus, Biscuit, Niblet, and Ziggy), 2 goats (Niko/Brother), 2 rabbits (Nugget/Waffle), 2 bulls (JoJo/Mustard), and a fish.
Hobbies: Michelle enjoys going to the movies, beach, river, lake, or riding side by sides in the mud with her 6 year old little boy.

Pets: Karrigan has a lively crew of pets: six dogs—Riley, Keira, Tadpole, Bane, Raina, and Oppossum—four cats—Paisley, Leah, Milkshake, and Skitters—a macaw named LoLo, plus a snake and some chickens.

Bio: Jessi was born and raised on the coast of South Carolina riding horses and caring for her animals. She graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Animal and Veterinary Sciences, and she is currently perusing her masters degree in Comparative Biomedical Sciences through UGA. She is also currently applying to Veterinary schools with hopes to become a large animal or mixed practice veterinarian in an underserved rural community in the south.

Bio: Selene began her journey in veterinary medicine in 2020 as a client service representative, where her passion for animal care quickly took root. After two years, she was inspired to take the next step and pursue her veterinary technician license, enrolling in school and transitioning into a veterinary assistant role in 2022. Since then, she’s fallen head over heels for the field—learning and growing every day alongside our amazing doctors and techs. For Selene, no two days are the same, and that’s exactly what she loves most about what she does.

Bio: Neva is originally from Foley, Alabama, and moved to Dothan in 2024. When she’s not at work, she spends her free time with her kids, shopping, or browsing Facebook for the next animal she’s going to bring home. Her favorite animal is a bat, and her favorite color is black.
Pets: Neva shares her life with 4 dogs, a cat, 6 chickens, and one very special horse.

Joined Team: Sarah came with the building back in 2010; she has been at SEAVH for a combined total of 20 years.
Bio: Sarah is a mother of two, Kaitlyn and Nolan, and was born and raised in Iowa. After high school, she joined the Army, where she met her husband, and eventually they settled in Dothan, AL. She considers Southeast Alabama Veterinary Hospital her home away from home.
Pets: Dog- Bingo-Dingo; Cats - Peaches, Dude, & Buttons; Rat - Brownie; Mouse- Miss Jangles; Guinea Pig - Manerd & Pickles
Hobbies: Sarah enjoys spending her free time crocheting and reading, hobbies that let her relax and be creative.
Favorite thing about working at SEAVH: Sarah loves working at Southeast Alabama Veterinary Hospital because she enjoys watching the animals grow and thrive under her care. She finds it rewarding to be part of their journey and help ensure they stay happy and healthy.

Title: Office Assistant: Lori helps out with the day to day tasks of the hospital. She performs her tasks with precision and consistency. She has a quick wit and is a lot of fun to be around.

Bio: Lori has been happily married for 24 wonderful years and she is a proud mom to two grown daughters and grandma to three amazing grandchildren. Since 2003, Dothan has been her home—and she wouldn’t have it any other way. She is a true homebody at heart, with a quirky love for scary movies, thunderstorms, and cracking jokes to keep everyone laughing. Life’s little thrills and family moments are what makes her world go round.
